Majority Floor Leader Rocky Adkins, State Representative, District 99

Rep. Rocky Adkins attended a ceremony at South Floyd County High School in Hi Hat, Kentucky in early May. Local school officials were on hand with Rep. Adkins to celebrate Floyd County's participation in the Kentucky Dataseam project that uses Eastern Kentucky coal severance funds to purchase state-of-the-art computers for students. Thousands of computers from across the state are linked together to form a grid which analyzes data gathered by University of Louisville scientists who are researching new cancer drug treatments.
