Majority Floor Leader Rocky Adkins, State Representative, District 99

The 14th Annual Rocky Adkins Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $113,000 this year, bringing the total amount he has raised to more than $1.1 million. In the past, these funds have gone to the Hannah Jo Smith Leukemia Foundation and most recently, helped build the Hospitality House at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

The Hospitality House is a comfortable, homey place for guests to stay when they have loved ones in the hospital or a patient needs a place to stay when they are coming here for treatment and live over 50 miles away.

The money raised in the next five years will purchase King's Daughters’ new mobile mammography unit and the renovation of the Oncology Unit at the Medical Center. Rep. Adkins is a cancer survivor.
